Biography
Dr. Antic is an Associate Professor and the Director of Cytopathology at the University of Chicago, USA. She is fellowship trained in genitourinary pathology and cytopathology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and is a certified member of American Board of Pathology and Cytopathology. She oversees the Cytopathology Fellowship program at the University of Chicago and has mentored several fellows over the past several years. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology CheckPath Committee and the chair of American Society of Cytopathology Clinical Practice Committee. She has published over 70 research papers in various peer-reviewed top-rated journals including the American Journal of Surgical Pathology and Nature. In addition, she has written several book chapters and authored a book titled “Renal Neoplasms: an Integrative Approach to Cytopathologic Diagnosis†published in 2014. Dr. Antic’s research interest is in the area of kidney and urothelial carcinoma.
